e92 335i MPG question
So I just got back from a long road trip about 1500 miles and the trip computer gives me overall 27.3 MPG for the whole trip. Is that normal? I was expecting mpg to be 20ish

Why would you expect that? Highway mileage for your car is 28-30 or so. You drove mostly highway, you got pretty close to estimated max.

That's normal. In fact, you can get even more! I usually get 29-31 when driving ~450 mi road trips, though I have an N55. Kinda amazing what these 6 cylinders can do!

In all fairness our cars even with heavy ethanol mixes gets just as good as gas mileage as V8 with similar HP on pump gas.

Very true. I was being facetious, I usually average 18-19 mpg with about 70% highway driving. Not many 450+ whp cars that can say that, plus E85 is cheaper.
