First post on the board! My first BMW. I just picked up a SG 2006 330i with sports package. It is literally the best car I've ever driven. If I can define it on two words, smooth balance. Everything is so linear, smooth, and balance. It's like the engineers placed a premium on providing a balanced experience that's fun but never forgets that it's a sports sedan. I love it. I've been repeating "wow" many times in the last day.

My car has 99K on it, and it's a late 06 build (7-17). A couple of impressions:

1) my audio connections in the center console is gone! Meaning, the there's a hole where the aux port should be. There's wires down there, but I don't see how to connect it. Does BMW sell an aux kit for the e90? I was hoping to connect a BT audio kit. The cigarette lighter works.

2) the turn signals are slightly faster than most cars. No, they don't need to be changed, but I was wondering that's normal. Oh, and the feel is great.

3) the lighting. It is amazing. The soft white lighting and the lights under the door handles are an awesome touch.

4) the combination of the low growl with buzz of the I6...don't know if I'm describing it right, but I love hearing that.

I haven't even pushed it yet, but I'm all smiles 24 hours in. It's like I'm not driving a car, put piloting a spaceship. Lol. Shouts out to XM and bashad for helping me with info and introducing to me to the forum.

Post up some pictures. It sounds like we have similar cars. (Mine's Sparkling graphite too...) Hopefully you got the 6-M/T.

Welcome to the family! You'll love it even more as the days go by. Then you'll start making mods to it here and there and you can't help stopping yourself.

And, I take that back, a spaceship? Nah, a finely tuned fighter plane is more like it now I think of it. You point it where you want it to go, and it goes -- in a hurry.
