ST X Performance Coilover System

Any of you guys have these? Opinions? Yes this is a cross post but I also want to know how the locals feel about them. Seem like a good price. Too good to be true?

I have a blown strut on my 07 335i Coupe. Looking to buy something quick. 100k on the car so I may as well replace the whole set up.

I have them installed on my E90. VAST IMPROVEMENT over the stock XI struts/springs. Less body roll, feel planted, not harsh over bumpy/shitty roads. Honestly, I feel like this should've been my first mod.

Yeah, your right. I went with the KW V1's. Hope to have them installed this week.

BTW Torgus, where did you get your side skirts painted? Long story but I brought mine to a place, they had them for a month, and never got painted.

i had my kw v1 installed this weekend the rear does not sit to low, even with the coil all the way down, front is almost all the way down, i need to wait until they settle, i ride on the stock 17s car is one finger in the back and no gap at the front, let me tell you they feel goooddddddddddd, i drove in jersey this past weekend, their roads really suck and man no sound coming out of the coils plus my gf did not complain at all about the coils. happy customer

not having a gf complain about coils is a god send.

depending where you live there are a number of good body shops. Search in the NE section of this forum(where we are now) there have been numerous bodyshops talked about that are good.

It should take them a day to spray it.

I like Paul's autobody in waltham but that is me as I know Fabio the owner. But search and go to a good one that is close.

I didn't mean to be a dick about the COs saying don't go cheap but usually at some point cheap COs get really shitty. That being said you don't need to spend 4k on them either.

in my experience coilovers dont "settle" other than if you roll the car back and forth in the garage

I don't think it matters coilover or not, if you have the car on a lift for an extended period of time, when you put it back on the ground, it sits higher for a few days.

I would get wheels first, but that is just me. Shift knob is always the first mod. Wheels are always second.

Just put the wheels on after the ST coil install. (The wife approved of the new stance).
