Rotor set screw coming loose
Recently had new rotors installed and after a few hundred miles one of the set screws came loose causing the rotor to move around and make noise when going over bumps. Took off wheel and retightened it and came loose again causing rotor to move around. Would replacing with new set screws help?

I don't have a torque wrench so not sure what I tightened them to but they are as tight as I can get them. Maybe I'll take wheel off again and clean the mating surfaces and see if that will help.

No it was not. Seems that the problem was with the lug bolts. One is about a quarter inch shorter than the rest. Heading to dealer tomorrow to get them replaced

That screw does nothing but locate the rotor if you take the wheel off.
It is impossible for the rotor to move once the wheel is bolted up. Noise when going over bumps is pad rattle, not rotor noise.
