Hey fellas, tried searching for this but it's hard to describe as I've never felt it before. I have a 320xi 2014 and recently had an alignment done about 4 months back.
2-3 months ago I started feeling this odd jerk, when my right tires go over a manhole or pothole, usually the deeper ones, it feels like the rear of my car jerks towards the right side as if it's over compensating. Happens above 35-40 MPH. I brought it in to the dealer and test drove it with the Tech but they didn't have any pothole that we could find around the dealer, only bumps that both tires went over. Either way he didn't feel nothing wrong. They looked at the specs and the alignment is within specs according to them. So I'm not sure what to do or even if this is normal, although I've never noticed until recently. Sometimes it feels like the rear is shifting over slightly. Scary at above 45 MPH when you're not expecting it. So was wondering if anyone has insight or experience with something like this. The left side does it very slightly but mostly not too noticeable. But it's there as well but not like on the right side. Thanks in advance. |

I have noticed a slight weird jerk whenever I go over a series of bumps. I checked my tire temps immediately and saw that my rear right tire was a bit low on air, so that may have been it.
