M3 with M performance spoiler ground clearance

Hello everyone,

Any M3 owners with M performance spoiler (lip) have ground clearance problems (especially when going up/down in Tysons corner/galleria parking garage buildings)? Because, I have a steep driveway similar to the Tysons corner/galleria parking garage.

Is ground clearance about 3.7" to 4.0" with M performance spoiler?

Thanks in advance for all the responses.

i HAD a Status Gruppe CF front lip.

HAD is the operative word here because I promptly destroyed it within 72 hours. Entirely my fault as I overlooked a short incline attempting to pull into my folks' garage on a visit.

The SG lip does stick out alittle more than the M Performance lip. so you MAY be ok. I'd still scrutinize every questionable hump/incline tho. My M3 is at stock ride height.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm trying to decide (logically) whether I should include the M front spoiler/lip to my M3 build up or not. Hmmmm. BTW, I'm going to keep M3 in stock ride height as well.

id consider ordering the FRP version. see how you fare with that and then sell it and step up to the CF.

my mode carbon endurance S1 front lip should be here this week. it doesn't protrude as far as the SG, and Sam @ Mode Carbon said it's got more clearance compared to some of their competitors.
