Talking 340i Test Drive, Pictures and Review - First 340i in Las Vegas

Today i had the chance to drive a 340i and i must say, i am pleasantly surprised

This was the first 340i the dealership got and the manager told me it is the first one in Vegas ( Car salesmen say anything to sell you a car so who knows if he was honest or not).

I know for sure this is the first 340i this dealership gets because the first salesman i asked about it had no idea what a 340i is and he kept trying to convince me that it is called a 335i

Car just got to the dealership today and has not been tested yet. Which meant comfort access, navigation, HID were not working and i was not allowed to drive it aggressively (it had less than 4 miles on the odometer)

I must say it looks a lot better in person than internet pictures. The new angel eye design is very sleek and at least 50% brighter than the previous generation. the 340i is fully loaded and with the M sport package.

Exhaust tone was impressive, then again it could have been the active sound.
The M sport steering wheel is a must have upgrade when getting this car, same with the LED headlights

Car from the inside looks a lot like the Pre-LCI F30, except it is more refined , more comfortable, luxurious and sportier (mostly because of the steering wheel).

So finally i drive the car and the first thing i noticed is the superior handling. I hated my 2013 F30 328 because it felt so light, the 340i feels is a bit heavier (it is in no way as heavy as an E92, it delivers a perfect combination for a sport sedan)

Impressive throttle response, it felt like the car was begging to go WOT. It is not meant to be driven slowly. I did not have a chance to drive the car in sport mode.

Will be going back to the dealership this Saturday, i will drive the 340i again but this time more aggressively and will let you know how it performs

Excellent feedback yet again on the 340. This was equipped with the track pack?

We have the LEDs on our car but these look even more aggressive with the small horizontal line.

I hope no one else buys LEDs.

They weren't previously available on the 3er, correct?

When you go back, can you pop off the engine cover and take more pics?

Maybe you can tell if the DME is still under the intake manifold or not...

The manifold seems to be nice.

Was wondering if it is really worth spending $2600 more for just the m-sport steering wheel. I'm in the minority here where I don't care for the external looks of the msport. Not that I find it bad, just that I don't find it better than the standard look.

So to me the msport package is really buying me a $2600 steering wheel upgrade and I seriously wonder if it is really worth it.
