How remove TMAP connector for BMS S1 install?

Is there any trick to getting that damned thing off?

Install guide says

"'Push lightly on the release clip to release the connector from the sensor. Do not pull directly on the
wires. If the connector is stuck using a small screwdriver to gently lift the tab up from the back side
(closer to 3.5 numbering) can help."

Press what? With what? Where? I see and feel nothing that indicates that pressing it lightly is doing anything at all. I get the part about lifting with a screwdriver on the tab, but that seems to do nothing at all.

I've been pressing, squeezing, prying and poking and accomplished nothing but scratching up the connector and cursing a lot. I've never seen a connector so difficult to use. The only step in the install I've been able to do is disconnect the battery. What jackass designed that connector?

I searched and see some install threads but I haven't seen anything yet that deals with how to get that particular connector off.

Please help before I lose mind and break that POS

Try pushing the connector towards the sensor first, then push the tab down and pull.

I've tried that, and nothing changes. The instructions indicate that the tab should be LIFTED!

Should tabe be lifted? Should it be pressed?

You and the instructions say 2 different things

The rest of the install took about 2 minutes including reconnecting my battery.

That one connector wrecked my attitude and mood for at least an hour. BMS should definitely correct their install guide.
