New Brembo 4 Piston Brake Calipers introduced at IAA
Brembo just showed some nice new Brake Calipers.
Coming for 17, 18 and 19 inch brake systems Which BMW might be the first one to get them? http://www.brembo.com/en/company/news/newcalipersiaa Last edited by zapp; 09-17-2015 at 07:25 AM.. |

Look to be lightened up. Should also dissipate heat better.
After clicking on the link: At the IAA, Brembo launches a new 5 openings caliper with a weight reduction of 8% and the same stiffness. |

New 5, 6, 7 and X3 has these. I was initially under the impression they were made by another manufacturer but that could be the entry level versions.
These calipers use adhesive backed pads, presumably to reduce the groaning noise associated with using such tall pads on small pistons |
