Car going out of warranty soon.. any checks I should make before?

For you guys who are out of warranty or going towards the end of your warranty, was there anything you checked out before the warranty ended to make sure everything was okay?

I'm also beginning to have this issue where the car will sometimes vibrate quite heavily going from neutral into 1st gear. I think some initial research is telling me that this is a failing flywheel or possible clutch issues. Could anybody give any insight on this issue? My car is stock and I would hope to have more faith in my ability to handle a manual transmission when faced with this possible clutch related issue.

You may want to check the side mirrors for cracks. Very common problem, apparently the result of being overtightened at the factory.

My passenger side one had a small crack which they are doing today under warranty, although there was a bit of a supercilious "these-things-aren't-always-covered-under-warranty-but-we-will-do-a-courtesy-replacement" tone.
