146,000 EUR and 700 units

"BMW has disclosed the mighty M4 GTS will be available at 146,200 EUR in its homeland.

The exclusive technological showpiece which elevates the potential of the BMW M4 Coupe to another impressive new level, is now the most expensive BMW ever sold, topping the price of its predecessor, the M3 GTS, with 5,750 EUR.

Limited to only 700 examples, the M4 GTS will be available in the UK and the US too with the Brits going to have to pay at least 121,700 GBP to have it. 300 copies of the car will be available in America, while UK customers will get only 30.

The M4 GTS is not only a more powerful car than the standard M4 but it also gets an adjustable rear carbon fiber wing, a titanium exhaust system, exclusive M light-alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and LED headlights and OLED taillights."

Thats way too much for a M4 IMO. Would consider many other cars before even thinking about the GTS.

Dang! at 130k I'm out. It has cool tech and all with the water cooling and coilovers but double the msrp of base car is hard to justify..

So if the price point really is around the gt3 price, do you guys still expect the gts to be in such high demand that dealers will mark up the msrp by another 10 or 20k?

I know it's a limited run, but curious how much of a market there is for this type of car.

Do they sell more than 700 gt3's or rs's annually?

They sell all GT cars they build more often than not to large markups. And as I understand the GTS will be a one model year run only.
