Finally I have my 1m

Took some time to find the right one but its finally here! Coming from many sports cars and a few BMW's too I've very please with the 1M to say the least. This little guy is a pocket rocket lol. Want to work on protecting the motor and increasing the power as well as understanding what can be done to the suspension since it seems like it hit very hard on sharp bumps wondering if that is normal. Anyway I've loving every min of it and plan to hang out on the forum learning more about it as well as modifying for even more excitement. Best, Brad

Congrats. That's a good car. I couldn't come to terms in price when it was at porsche dealer but I spoke with owner and got history. Enjoy.

"...it seems like it hit very hard on sharp bumps wondering if that is normal."

Unfortunately, Yes, it is, largely due to the 19" wheels.

18" wheels and tires in the same width can make the ride considerably more civilized, with arguably better performance on public roads in typical poor condition.

+1 I believe you. Seems its a BWM M thing, my M6 had so much road noise and i believe it was the huge rims and run flats. Anyway they look sick so they are staying and i'll deal with the harder then normal ride. Now I'm wondering if it common and safe to install wheel spacers. This thing is craving these wheel wells to be fill

Congratulations! I love my MadDad midpipe. Easy to swap out and change back if necessary. Sounds much better, the way the car should have come in my opinion.
