Charge pipe wiggle/loose

My car seems to have irregularities in the throttle and turbo feel. Sometimes it doesn't feel like the turbo is providing any boost, or it spools up and then kind of falls flat, and there are also occasional slight hesitations. I thought it was bad gas, but it continued through multiple tanks. I brought it to the dealership in hopes that they could check things out. Driving with the service manager, he said he didn't feel anything and if anything was wrong a check engine light would come on. He then said they would update the software and reset the DME as a courtesy. I thought, okay, sounds good. It probably won't fix it but a software update doesn't hurt.

After driving the 328 loaner, the difference in boost seemed more apparent, so I emailed my SA and asked them to look at my turbo and check what kind of pressure it was producing. My SA told me not to worry and that they had me covered.

Well, after picking up the car, I see that the work slip only mentions the software and DME. No mention of checking anything else. Needless to say, I still experience the same issues. So in an attempt to do some of my own troubleshooting to bring back to them, I started by looking at the charge pipe. Is it supposed to wiggle at all at the throttle body? Mine does and doesn't seem like it would be air tight.

I don't feel my chargepipe being loose when installing the JB4 connector there.

I will check up tomorrow. But I don't think it is normal. Can't see what is wrong though.

Just popped the hood.. Mine is exactly the same as yours.
I don't experience any boost lag though.

Yes a little wiggle is normal as there is an o-ring in there which actually creates the seal.
