USAA Buyer Program M2

For those who are USAA members, does anyone know if the M2 will be available for purchase/lease through the USAA buyer program?

I know it uses True Car and something tells me that it may not be available until reliable market data is propagated, however I figured I would ask.

Only other car outside of the M2/3 I am looking at is the ATS-V which is also not available (for what it is worth, the only V car you can price is the CTS-V coupe , none of the sedans are selectable).

Thanks!

I'm hoping so; I called USAA and they said it may take a while for it to show up in the system if at all. Not all cars qualify. They said if the dealer is a participating true car partner they should still bargain a bit. Time will tell cause I plan on going this route too for purchase & loan unless Bmw finance can beat them...

True Car will not make a difference on this car. All it will tell you is people are paying MSRP and that you already know. USAA can not update anything until the car is actually orderable here in the states. I am more interested in the CCA rebate since it can not be combined with USAA.

Yeah, they are typically the same value, so by being a member of both USAA and BMWCCA, you are nearly guaranteed you'd get some kind of rebate.

USAA offers different discounts for different zip codes.
When the car comes out, plug in various zip codes as entering arguments.
ED should be available, too; but, you may have to look for a dealer who'll go with that program.

Is there a specific membership category required at bmwcca in order to get rebate?

Just have to have been a member for 12 months prior to purchasing a new or cpo BMW.

Good information from everyone. Yeh, the USAA deals on the M3 are what is swinging toward the three but now that you mention the CCA discount (member for about three years now), that is a viable option for the M2.

Which leads me back to! INDECISIVE HIGHWAY!

Another quick question. Any word on BMW Performance Center delivery for the F87? Would love to do this for the M2 and am set to do it if I go Team Three.

I suspect that USAA won't have a discount available until the car becomes one that is unstock regularly, so probably a few months into production. I did read that they have a 1k discount on M cars so perhaps you could apply that to an order if you have a cooperative dealer. Costco has a pretty solid new car buying program that might be an option a few months in also.

Does anyone know if USAA is offering any rebates yet on the M2?

They are not specifically yet, but are for the 2-series which has covered the M2:

Thank you! Hope they don't get technical for my purchase between "2-series" and "m2".

My dealer says the USAA rebate/discount on the M2 is $1,000.

I was just on the USAA TrueCar site...the M2 is finally in there and showing a small discount for my area (Chicago). My dealer honors all USAA TrueCar numbers so I'm hopeful when my allocation comes in (I'm #1 right now and waiting) that they will both honor the TrueCar price and the $1000 discount. Maybe I'm hoping for too much but USAA dealers are usually pretty good about this stuff.

Unfortunately the ones around SoCal are still asking for $5-$20k over msrp. USAA has no control over that sadly.

They now explicitly state "BMW 2 Series + M" with $1000 incentive for MY16 and MY17. Offer is good for 6 more months, until 1/3/17
