E90 Rear Windows both won't up in full down position

I had my right rear window get stuck and then a pop sound (regulator) a couple days ago. I order the new regulator to replace and then I had the same issue on my back left today 3 days later. I am getting the Power window Anti-Trap function deactivated in my check control messages.

I am just about to sell this car and get a new vehicle and all of a sudden she is acting up on me.

I was wondering if anyone experienced anything like this or is it just coincidence here?

With either window if I try and roll the windows up or perform the window reset function i am hearing the cables groaning and binding and zero movement on windows.

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Been scrubbing the forums and just looking for any suggestions.

Maybe your seal went bad and water got inside? I would take the door panels off and look inside for condensation first.

Well I don't know what the chances are for both rear window regulators to fail within 3 days of each other but I replaced my right rear and everything is working perfectly. The cables had become bound up in the assembly which the window motor attaches to on one window. The other one the end of the cable which attaches to the green window holding bracket.

I appreciate the suggestion but just ordered my left rear regulator this morning.

I picked them up for about $30 each shipped.

I followed the numerous videos on youtube and knocked out the first one in about 30 minutes from start to finish. I was surprised how easy it was honestly. The toughest part was getting the plastic holder to snap back into the hole in the bottom edge of the glass.
