Eibach Pro-kit Sportline springs installed

I had the Eibach springs installed in my car a week ago and thought to post my findings for others considering the change.

The baseline - a 2012 F30 328i with M Adaptive Suspension.

The modification - Eibach Pro-kit Sportline springs.

Outcome
- crisper turn-in, more planted ride feel, less diving under breaks and less roll when cornering. Obviously a lower ride height as well.

Summary - I got exactly what I wanted with this. The car is still a very comfortable car to drive with improved dynamics. Firmer without being too firm. Wishing I'd done it three years ago to be honest.

After a week the ride height from the bottom of the wheel rim to 12 o'clock on the wheel arch bodywork is 595mm/ 23 7/17" (18" rims).

Would I recommend it? - Yes. This matches up to the MAS dampers perfectly IMO.

Thank you for the write up! I recently installed some coilovers and like you wished I would have done it sooner along with ditching the run flat tires! My distance from bottom of wheel to wheel arch is almost identical to yours...23 9/16" which leaves about 1/2" gap between top of tire and arch. BTW, I know we live on different continents but I didnt realize you had a different unit of measure in OZ that had 17ths!

You're welcome

We use the metric system but I thought I'd be nice to all the quaint folk using inches by trying to convert it. The fraction was the closest I came to getting it equivalent to my millimeters measure!

Ha ha. Us quaint folk really can't measure using inches either. Metric rules!

Good to hear mate!

I did H&R Sport and Non-RFTs about 2 months after I got the car and I agree 100% that it makes the car more dynamic and planted but still retains it's comfort and quality ride.
