Ford Mustang 5.0
I think I read that UK allocation of mustangs is quite well sold out..
Anyone know if decent discounts are available on the mustang ? Haven't seen one in the flesh but the auto car review of the v8 was quite positive.. Pretty good value for a v8 toy..

Yes the UK initial build is allocated.
How much for private buyers and if any as stock for main dealers not sure. For the price you do get a hell of a lot of car and kit as standard. There is also a licensed Shelby garage for customising / converting to Shelby... They have not released the full discount package yet, that is likely due in time for launch or just after - Ford discount used to be really good, however some dealers are a total joke. At a guess I will be getting around 20% - historically it's been between 18% and 30% for Ford discount. |

Have you ordered one ? I'm tempted to take a look at one, fits the bill of a fairly special feeling weekend car to keep long term on first impression..

It is definitely a car I need to test drive. Have drove previous model in the UK (Shelby GT500), great fun for a fast barge, suspension / body control was rather crap. |

Went to the Ford dealer to look at a Kuga for the missus, spent the whole time drooling over the left hooker mustang they had in the showroom. Frikkin loved it!

One of my mates has one arriving next month so will be interested to have a run out in it. From what the dealer was telling him the UK allocation is sold out until late summer next year now.

There were a few Chargers & Challengers, but also loads of Camaros, almost as many as the Mustangs. Strange thing though with all of them is they were almost all the latest model! What do the yanks do with old model muscle cars!? Scrap them when the new model comes out?? |

Park them in the desert for 50 years then "find" them, fit hydraulic suspension and 40" chrome spinners then use then as mobile weapons platforms whilst providing security for there business interests?
