BMW M4 GTS World Debut at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

The BMW M4 GTS [official thread] is making its world debut at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show today and we bring you the first photos from the show floor.

Like the M4, the M4 GTS is powered by the turbo 6 cylinder S55 engine, but features at 16% horsepower and 10% torque increase over the standard M4, resulting in 500 HP and 442 LB-FT. A water injection system (first in a production road car) allows for the increased power output but with the same level of cooling as the standard M4.

0-60 is accomplished in just 3.7 sec and it laps the Nurburgring in 7:28.

Only 700 will be produced for worldwide sales, with 300 of those designated for the U.S. It comes in four colors: Sapphire Black metallic, Mineral Grey metallic, Alpine White and Frozen Dark Grey Metallic.

The wheels are crazy, but befitting to a car that gets around the 'ring in 7:28. I'm glad they make it pop.

I love it. People used to comment similarly when M3 CSL was launched ;
What happened to the sat-nav ?, why is there a single hole in the bumper ?, those seats look sooo uncomfortable, its not even leather, miss the fogl ights etc. etc. but the story is much different now

I think it has nice past touches mixed with new high tech stuff. M4 GTS at least has many bespoke parts unlike the M3 GTS which was a tuner's parts bin thrown at it

One of the worst styling efforts ever seen at BMW. The price is also a joke when you consider the competition.
