Anybody selling there Adaptive suspension? I wanna get rid of passive setup

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
So I didn't order the adaptive suspension, bad idea i know. So the car defiantly rides too stiff for me. I spoke with BMW and I can have the adaptive retrofitted however for new parts it will be too expensive.

If anyone who upgraded is looking to sell there Adaptive suspension setup PM me and lets talk.

Thanks all and have a a great day!

Andrew

Anyone Selling there Adaptive suspension? Hate my passive.

I ordered my 2016 M3 with passive because my last M3 was too soft in comfort and too rough in sport, so i figured the passive was the way to go.....wrong!

So inquired about retrofitting the adaptive suspension at BMW. They can do it they said but I am looking to buy used parts from someone who has updrages there suspension and just has there adaptive sitting in a box somewhere.

Anyone looking to get rid of or sell there adaptive suspension???

PM me

Thanks guys

I think you're better off trading your car

Agree. And FWIW, I think passive is better unless you have really bad roads where you live.

I don't think it's plug and play.

Well, it could be... but for a helluvalot of money. And it requires someone with one to get rid of their entire system (not just shocks/springs)... something tells me you're better off finding another M4

I'd consider air. Price wise it's probably similar to what you're looking at to convert and you can tailor it for our roads. I've had KW V2's in the past and it was still pretty jarring even set close to full soft.

For the cost of passive to adaptive, I think getting coils would be much better.

If you're looking for a softer or more comfortable ride, the Bilstein PSS10 are a great option.
