BMW 435i suspension issue

Hi all!
Would really like some help. I have a 2014 BMW 435i with M-Suspension.
Have been having some issues that I need your advice on.

Back in July, hit a curb and damaged the wheel and suspension at the rear of the car.
Had everything replaced at the dealership but when I got the car back, the suspension was sitting very high. at both sides of the rear.

Long story short, BMW are now saying that because it has M Suspension, it will sit higher! That doesn't make any sense to me at all, why would m suspension be higher than the sport!?

I have taken it to the garage quite a few times and looked onlne for any information without any luck. I don't know what i can tell them other than pointing and saying it looks too high to me!

Hoping someone here could give any advice as to what may be going on.

Thanks

I wonder if they re-installed with M Sport shocks and springs? Do you know exactly what parts the dealer replaced?

How does the car ride otherwise? Does it feel the same?

Rather then have them pass it off as "normal", I'd have them bring in a used/new F32 with m suspension for comparison...giving them a visual should turn the lights on upstairs. Good luck!

Yes, this is also a problem. I live in Dubai and apparently, no one else has ordered the M-Suspension and all the cars in the showroom are 435i's with M-Kits but sport suspension.
If anyone has has a M-Suspension and the same wheels as mine, could you post a picture of your car and I can show them as well!

Check your springs with part number if they match up with M suspension code.

They have contacted BMW Germany for advice with the pictures I have sent them. Hopefully will have answer soon!

They only changed the suspension on one side so not sure why both sides are now high.
Is there anything else that would affect the ride hight?

According to me, they installed the springs of a 435i XDRIVE, that is 1,5/2,0cm higher than RWD 435i
Or they left the blocks, as someone else observed before.
There's something wrong for sure in your rear suspensions! Check them by another dealer

Just to let you all know, BMW relented and have agreed to change the springs to see if it solves the issue. Will let you know how it goes!

Before they install the springs, verify the part #s. Also check out the part numbers of the springs on your car now.

Good luck!

looks like they used X-drive springs or maybe the springs from the GranCoup model. they are heavier in the back so their springs are a bit different ie higher
