Ceramic Pro / XPEL / OptiCoat installers??

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good installer for Ceramic Pro, XPEL, etc in the Northwest (Preferrably Portland Oreogn) area?

I'm taking delivery in a few weeks and would like to get the car sealed and protected before I let it loose on the streets.

Ideally, I'd like to protect the front bumper, fenders, hood, carbon roof, door handle cups, rear bumper and trunk lid.

Also if you have a suggestions/opinions on which product to go with, please share.

Thanks in advance!

I am going to be having my car covered with C.Quartz Finest and Xpel Ultimate by Metropolitan Detail when I take delivery soon. They are in Bellevue WA though.

My ultimate choice would be to have Modesta applied though. There are no shops in the Seattle area that do that but there is one in Portland. They are listed on Modesta's website as an authorized installer. The name is Immaculate Essence (http://immaculateessence.com/).

Thank for the info. It's much appreciated.

Is there a reason why you chose Modesta over other brands?

Also, have you contacted BMW of Seattle? When I was shopping around they mentioned a lot of their cars already come wrapped on the showroom floor because owners wanted to protect their rides. They might be able to help or provide a lead to their vendor.

I already know their vendor; they work with Accutint. They are decent but I have worked with Metro before and they do amazing work.

I like Modesta based on the reviews and results photos here on the forums. I think C.Quartz is a very close 2nd though.

How much is it through them? My car arrives in Jan and was going to take it to Accutint.

Interesting. Never heard of Modesta. My first thought it, is it too much? I had a hard time getting Griot's polishes to work on my e60 M5 as apparently the BMW clear coat is pretty hard. I had to switch to more aggressive polishes - Hyperpolish by Optimum). If you apply Modesto and get a scratch, do they have products or methods to help get it out? I"m not putting it down - just sharing my first thoughts as I read about their stuff.

I had Xpel put on my wife's MB at Accutint at Bellevue. I'm completely happy with their work - great price too. Join AAA and get a discount.

I went with Xpel (partial - wish I had gone with full hood), and use Optimum Opticoat. I am very happy with this set up.

The C.Quartz Full treatment from Metro is $2500. That includes full prep (interior and exterior) and then application of C.Quartz Finest on the exterior along with Flyby Forte on the glass, C.Quartz DLUX on the wheels and brake calipers, and C.Quartz Leather and fabric protectors on the interior. Then the Xpel is $995 for a partial front coverage.

Kind of pricey but the level of protection is amazing!

I got my xpel installed by 503 motoring. It was perfect. They did an outstanding job and although it wasn't cheap it couldn't have came out any better. The guy that does it has like 10 years experience also.

Hope that helps

Spoke with Immaculate Essence as suggest by jwzimm (Thanks bud!) They seemed very knowledgable and spoke in detail about my options and provided a lot of insight. They only do Modesta and outsource XPEL to a place that specifically works with wraps. With that said, they're going to give me a package deal based on window tint, XPEL & Modesta. I'll keep everyone posted once I hear back.

On a side note, would you guys be interested in a group buy if I can negotiate something with them?

Here's my protection package.

Window Tint:
Suntek CXP 35% (Oregon State Limit)

XPEL:
Full Hood
Front bumper
Headlights
Front fenders
Mirrors
A-Pillar
Full carbon roof
Rocker panels
Rear bumper
Rear fenders
Carbon trim on center console (Interior)

Modesta:
Full coverage on body
Wheels & Brakes
Windshield

Yeah I did the full front. Complete hood, fenders, bumper, lights, and mirrors. I have to point it out to people otherwise, they'd have no idea it's on there.

Working out a deal with ACCUTINT FOR XPEL wrap, opticoat plus and formula 1 window tint. Wrap is full front, full hood, fenders and rear bumper area. Initial ask was 3300 from them but asked for a package discount

So who has the best prices and does quality work in Portland area to do partial front?...is XPEL the best option?...prefer not to go to 503 Motoring, had bad experience there.

I got a quote from 503, but wasn't too stoked on it or the fact that they don't use Modesta. Also contacted Immaculate Essences and got a quote, but going to counter with a better deal. My scenario is a little different because I'm getting the whole car wrapped in XPEL & sealed in Modesta + Suntek window tint. If you talk to the people at Immaculate, tell them Brasko (Laguna Seca Blue M3) referred you and they might cut you a deal.

If willing to travel, Northwest Autoshield in Seattle does outstanding work on XPEL.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into them once I return to the Northwest after holiday.

Cheers!

I talked to the owner of Apex Auto in Beaverton...he quoted me a reasonable price to do partial front with XPEL...he does the work himself too and seems very experienced ...think I am going with him.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to drop him a line this week and see what he can do for me.
