Love it so far. About 5-6 hours in. Can't get any decent armour yet though, still in my vault suit.
Just cleared a car assembly plant, one of the early missions, great fun. Not sure I like the house building stuff yet though. |

It's bloody hard in parts though, previous one was a walk in the park in comparrison, miss those legionnaires though lol. |

Yep been playing it since yesterday!
Got a couple of gripes with the PC version, first the graphics are a disappointment, it looks like a 10+ year old game, and second the performance is poor, getting bad frame rate drops all over the place, so I spent most of my time today installing Windows 10 to see if that helps, now going to try it! Gameplay is great so far though. |

Works great for me to windows 10 1440p on ultra with no lag. I think the game is fabtastic, about 10 hours in, not huge fan of building bases though. On PC the game will be massively improved with mods in the next few months, did it with Fallout 3 with texture packs and enhanced shaders etc made it look incredible. Some of the textures in F4 are very poor.

It's gradually getting some place, one downer is that Preston (He is the Minuteman) is hitting on me and fancies my ass.
I decided NOT to follow the romance option, not too keen to find out why he is a 'minuteman'.... You really need power armour fast, or you die a lot, also decent long range rifle. TOp tip, watch when you have Nuke grenades lol. |

MSI GTX 970 gaming 4g & i5 running at 4.2ghz
Now playing on Windows 10 and it's incredible how much better it's running! Got everything on max and it's totally smooth!! However, it does keeping crashing due to the graphics overclock, so looks like win 10 doesn't like graphics overclocks much! Now reducing it to see how that goes. |

Used to be a gamer, don't really get time anymore, also got latest Forza & Batman on Xbox one but only played a couple hours of each! Are you playing Fallout 4 on PC? |

Ive been tempted to get it but alot of the reviews on steam and metacritic seem to slate it, so am still not to sure whether to buy it, alot of AAA games seem to be massive let downs lately :/,
Instead I bought cities skyline to pass the time (as i love my simulations) best money spent ever! |

For me it's not much of a step forward in graphics from fallout new vegas, they are much improved but not revolutionary after all these years, but that's just fine with me as gameplay is much more important and fallout NV was my favourite game ever.
I'm about 15 hours in and loving it, Joined the minute men which is fine but made the mistake of going to retake the castle where you have to fight a very high level Mirelurk, have no chance and should have left that till I was 50 hours in or something till I tried for the castle. |

I played through GTA5 earlier this year enjoyed that and it ran well so I might be ok with fallout. I also got into league of legends a couple of years back and I find that very addictive mainly due to its competitive nature. |

Couldn't you use the power armour to kill the mirelurk? I think it just needs a new battery put in it |

I just went to the castle too early, I had the choice to keep recruiting for the minutemen or take the castle and should have kept recruiting a while longer. It's ok though as can leave the castle and fast travel away to do other stuff instead! |
