I have a 2011 bmw 528i that was a water car, i know it could be a million things but i engaged the parking brake and it stuck, well it wont unlock so i cant put it in gear. I know where the emf motor is ....im selling the car with a salvage title it ran and drove just fine until i put the parking brake on.I tried removing the code with my autel scanner but it wont clear.

I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me how to get this to unlock, atleast get me back to where i was so i can sell it.
Dont really want to fix it just be able to drive it, dont care about clearinf the code etc.......can i apply voltage to the motor it self and make it back out if i find there is no voltage?

Please help...not taking it to a dealer looking for a bmw tech here that can give me some help to unlock or troubleshoot.......i assume its rusted or the control module is bad?

Maybe instead of selling a car with an issue you know about you should either

A) fix it

or

B) sell it as is and disclose the issue, instead of trying to hide it.

I don't think anyone here will help you cheat someone else.

Wow, I guess you guys don't have a clue how to help me and youre just a bunch of kids with nothing else to do.....never even hinted that I wasn't going to disclose anything...idiots! its a water car with a salvage title I just need for it to move from my driveway to my side yard to sell it. Wow guess I shouldn't expect much from people who ASSUME!
