Time for winter tires?

I haven't put my winter tires on yet because of the mild winter so far. Anyone put their tires on yet? I have an oil change on December 4th and will most likely put them on then. I just don't want to hahah I love my summer set. When do you guys put your winters on?

I was wondering the same thing. It has been so warm I have not switched yet either. I will probably switch in a week or two.

When it's winter...

Not till the first snow. I wait for it to melt off the road then switch up the rims, take off the lip, put the grill over the FMIC and raise her up.

50/45 degrees, That's rain and a nice fall day bud 🙊
Who cares about the temp, wait for that white to start flying or them to start sanding, takes all of what 20 mins to switch em? Ride it out!

depends on what tires you have. if you have high performance summer tires they are not supposed to be used under 50/45 degrees. With the rubber compound those things will skate around like ice on a morning like today (22 degrees here in CT)

That might work for "all season" tires but you're taking a big risk if you're using summer tires in temperatures much below 45 and it has nothing to do with snow. The temperature is the key factor in deciding your tires performance, not the early snow flakes. Basically a summer only tire will give no grip when it is too cold outside because of science.

Besides being unsafe you'll also ruin summer tires by rolling them when it is too cold outside (they'll get tons of cracks and look horrible)
