Help resetting airbag / seatbelt sensor after border patrol inspected car!
Hi all,
I recently traveled up to Canada and my 2007 328xi was inspected by the border guards for some reason. As I left, the airbag sensor and seatbelt sensor were lit up on the dash and have not gone away for a few months now. I read that I may need to bring the car to a BMW dealer to have them reset this, for an unreasonable fee. Is there anyone in the Boston / general MA area that could help me fix this issue? Maybe someone has a diagnostic tool kit or the right cables to hook in and reset the warning light. If so please do let me know. Thanks for reading! |

Uh if it was BP's fault you should have said something and filed a report before you left....
On a side note I disconnected battery for 30 mins and reconnected and mine reset on its own.
