Did BMW change the F30 TPMS sensors on the 2016 LCI

I put the winter wheel/tire set I used on my 2013 F30 RWD onto my new 2016 340i xDrive LCI sedan and the tire pressure monitoring system won't reset. Has anyone else successfully used TPMS sensors from the previous F30 on an LCI model? I'm hoping they didn't change the sensors.

BMW did change TPMS in 2014. I am not sure if they changed them again on LCI but if they are the same as my 2015 F36 then no they wont work for you.

Thanks for the response! I just got back from the dealer and they confirmed that new TPMS sensors are needed. One of my wheels is slightly bent at the edge (still holds air fine) from a big pothole hit and one has curb rash so I may just replace the rims rather than just replace the TPMS sensors and pay to have the tires with 6k miles on them removed and reinstalled. Off to shop for new rims...

I picked up a set of wheels off of a 2014 f30. I currently have a 2016 f30 (lci) model.

Will the TPMS from the 2014 work on my car?

For the switch over in 2014 to the new TPMS, is that the production year or the model year?

Thanks!

Nevermind, it looks like I found the answer:

Heloo guys.

I bought a set of 18 wheels, used so far on a non-LCI F30. On my car, an F30 LCI, I had 16 rims with pressure sensors. The new rims have pressure sensor, but didn;t managed to resset them. In idrive, when perform resetting, stay at 0% of load.
maybe the non LCI sensors don't connect with the LCI car?

Thank you

Nope.

International standards moved the frequencies.

BMW changed at end if Q1 2014.

Been the same since then.
