Redline 5w-30 in N55

Anyone using Redline 5w-30 motor oil in their N55? I used to run Redline in other cars with good results and was considering it now (it's time for a second oil change) instead of the BMW oil. Any added benefit (for the added cost) over the BMW oil? Comments appreciated.

IIRC I remember reading years ago the RL was good for about 7500 miles max in BMW engines. Something to consider since your OCI is approx. 10k miles. Try looking for UOA in the BITOG website

Why not just run M1 0w-40? You can get the 5qt. jugs at Walmart for ~$26.
