1M Dyno

Did a dyno today and got 412whp and 427 torque, but on every run i had slippage. This is on stock turbos and 93 octane pump gas with FBO. I will post the datalogs of the dyno shortly and you can see slippage between 3000rpm and 5000rpm, no meth and no e85, only 93 octane. I am going to go to another dyno hoping to get around 420whp if there is no slippage.

can you please tell me what you guys think of my logs. thanks

Great numbers, and on E10 no less. Congrats. Are you sure it's dyno slippage and not your clutch?

At any rate, the log seems pretty good. Fuel pressure is really nice. I'm not used to seeing those hpfp numbers!

Are you intentionally running that rich in the higher RPM? Also, what's up with the significant boost increase after 7k RPM?

The tune is certainly an aggressive one. Are you trying to kill the turbos so you can justify getting new ones?

His AFR is targeting 11.1 AFR in the top end, the DME has the ability to override commanded AFR due to certain conditions, such as lack of airflow, or high IAT.

The dyno the OP was on was setup with only a single large warehouse fan. Forced induction cars need higher and more direct airflow simulating as close as possible real world condition with fans like this

His turbos are peaked max boost @ 19.66 PSI @ 3300 RPM and then starts to taper with a max duty cycle of 65%. He is well within the turbo's compression and efficiency range with the help of supported mods and proper fueling

The most common causes for turbos to fail are due to a lack of fueling, running too much duty cycle, EGT too high from running too lean, running them outside their compression ratio, or something getting caught in the turbine that doesn't belong in their

As for the boost increase @ 7K RPM the operator shifted into the next gear on the dyno before finally letting off. Look at timing and look at wgdc correlation since pedal position was not being logged.

Edit: I want to strongly state no two cars are the same, and just because the OP made 400+ whp @ 5500 RPM on pump 93 octane gas does not mean another 1M can do the same. Pump gas rating for ethanol is "up to" 10% and more likely the Shell gas station he frequents does a very good job of not mixing or low balling the gas.
