cold start problem
Hi I have a 2007 335i auto when cold it idles really rough the engine light came on and flashes. Turned the car off a couple of times once the car is warm it's fine purrs nice to to drive. When starting the car I don't get long cranks or anything. Just a couple of days ago had a service done and coils where replaced as well. I was thinking it was the hpfp but after reading on forum feel that it's not that cos I don't get long cranks when starting and once warm the car is fine. Any ideas pls?
Thanks |

Leaking injector filling cylinder with fuel while the car sits since you mention that it's fine after you start it a few times and warmed up. 07 model so you probably have the early fault prone injectors still.
I suggest you address this soon, as leaking fuel into cylinders will thin out your oil and cause some real damage |
