Local dealer will never get my business again
I've been driving BMWs off and on since the late 80s. I thought there was a thing called customer loyalty but I've been proven wrong. I have purchased 4 cars from a local BMW dealer located on the "automile" in Norwood over the years. I happened to visit this dealer last Saturday and saw a CPO 2015 435 that I was interested in buying. To make a long story short, we work out some numbers as I was trading in my current Beemer. I wasn't thrilled with the deal so I told the sales guy that I was going to go home and think about it. I happen to look at their website the next night and noticed they lowered the price of the car by $2500. Now I'm thinking this is great. I call my sales guy that night and leave him a vm stating that I would be down to do the paperwork on this car if we can rework the deal based on the new advertised price. He calls me back the next morning to basically tell me that they couldn't do any better on my deal. I was totally annoyed that this salesperson tried to explain that they had already added money to my trade-in allowance to compensate for the lower price of the car. What a lame excuse. Meanwhile he tells me to drive to the dealership so we could go over the numbers again. Then to add insult to injury, when I get there, he tells me the car was just sold by another salesperson just before I had arrived. I was ready to blow a gasket. They refused to budge on $500 when we had been working on the original deal, then they lower the price of the car by $2500 24 hours later and still refused to do any better on my final price.
I will never step foot in that dealership again. I went to BMW of Peaody and am picking up a 2016 340 in a few weeks. They gave me a few dollars more for my trade-in and they will get all my future BMW business. |

I bought a 3- series wagon from them several years ago. Can't say they were bad, but I've seen better. I had a good experience with the Sudbury dealership. I really like the Peabody folks. We bought a Mini from them and they have a good team of people both in Sales and Service.

Norwood is terrible. I drove 45 minutes to Wagner in Shrewsbury - I was treated with 100% better service and I saved almost $4k. It really sucks because I won't go to Norwood for service so now I have to drive 45 minutes for an oil change.

Norwood is terrible +1.
Been there three times (since they are very close to where I am) and I questioned my decision of going there after every visit. I'd rather drive 1 hr to Peabody to get my next oil change. |

When was that? UCC is generally considered the best in the Boston area.

New shop on South Shore in Rockland is gorgeous - people were very friendly and shop was spotless, although they quoted me $1400 for a spring install... holy crap I knew these cars were expensive to work on but jeez!
Side note - having UCC install film for me next week. |

I just bought a car at the "Gallery" Norwood. Honestly my experience was fantastic, but I was cross shopping 2 very similar cars (428 CG) at 2 separate dealerships. Fortunately the other store, Tulley - NH, was aggressively negotiating with me, given that I live in NH and have serviced my past BMW with them for 3 years. This only helped my situation with Norwood.
It would appear we've all had differing experiences re:dealerships from both a sales & then service experience. I will say Tulley's Service initially kind'a sucked, has recently gotten a LOT better......but proximity has me! I heard the service at BMW Stratham is way better, I should give them a try. |

a couple of months ago I dropped off my car there to have one of my door fixed (rattling noise). I was told some parts need to be ordered to replace some broken stuff inside - they wanted me to take back my car and they will call me once they receive the parts. I waited for a week and nobody called. I called the service rep back, no answer, left a voicemail, never heard back. Emailed them twice (one directly to the service rep, another one to their general email address). Guess what, nobody responded. I ended up taking my car elsewhere to get it fixed. |
