Drilled Rotor Advice

Hello Experts, im a newbie here in the forum and i got a 2016 f32 with track handling package with M sport brakes 3 months ago and i have been thinking of getting stoptech drilled rotors to go with the M sport brakes (just for looks)

I just need some advice to all the experts here in the forum if its actually worth getting stoptech drilled rotors?? Am i actually "Upgrading" my stock rotors or "downgrading" them? Will stoptech drilled rotors give me any problems in a long run if i do get them? Any comments will be much appreciated

Option #1

You know you could just drill your own holes in your current rotors instead of spending all that money for StopTechs.

If you went the StopTech route, you're paying $$$ for what could just take a few extra drill bits from Home Depot.

Option #2

Use a 60 ton press for this job. That die will slice right through your rotor like butter. If it doesn't work out, at least you'll have dimpled rotors which are the next best thing to drilled rotors.

Get the original BMW dimpled and slotted Rotors if available in your rotor size (available in 340mm or 370mm size for front rotor)

So, the look is drilled alike, but not with the downside of the holes.

The big Advantage, especially if not using as track rotors, with respect to all that race specific talk in the other post, I guarantee, you will experience a much bether wet braking behaviour. i.e. in heay rain road conditions

Maybe a weak argument for Texas..
