Official BMW Canada ordering guide

Not sure if this has been posted. I just got the M2 product planning bulletin showing full specs, pricing and options (surprisingly only 3 options). This car is loaded and nothing else. I think BMW Canada did a great job keeping cost down.

Yeah, been posted before. But it's still good to make it nice and accessible.

You getting one? I'm on the fence... Wondering if you can still get some reasonable allocation if you put a deposit now...

I am thinking about it. I don't really need it because I have the F82. The aggressive look and the low price is what's making it really attractive. What else can you get with this kind of performance at that price? CLA45 AMG comes to mind but it is such a bad car (materials, ride, turbo lag). Porsche Boxster/Cayman S? But those are quite a bit more (assuming new).

It shouldn't be hard to get allocation. I was told by my sale rep they have production slots for March so delivery around May. They are also willing to discount.

Seeing you have a 135 I think this would be a great car to replace it (if that's what you are looking to do).

My 135i got totalled by crazy driving RAV4. Was a sad day. I took over a lease with 19 months remaining on a F30 328i xDrive. The drive is atrocious.

I figure if I am set on the M2 and will keep it for a good number of years, it's better to just have someone take over the remaining lease and put the money into the M2 instead of waiting for the lease to end.

The lack of moonroof/CF roof option, and the bummer interior (no color choice, not much difference to the std 2 series) are what's holding me back a lil. I might also make a state side move later this year so that's also giving me the pause.

Otherwise at the price, it does seem fairly attractive~

A Discount?? Doubt that. unless you are getting some sort of loyalty rebate.

Yes they said I can get 5% no problem. Maybe because I am a loyal customer at the dealer (bought 9 cars over 6 years).

I got the 2nd M4 in town in 2014 and they gave me 6% discount. I was surprised.

I guess based on the ordering guides that US and Canada don't get a choice in sunroofs, it's solid roof only?

In the European option thread they list 403 but neither the US or Canadian guides list it and the Detroit car had a solid roof so it seems like a pretty safe bet . . .
