swapping to snow tires

So this winter has been pretty mild (at most) and I have a brand new set of Blizzaks sitting here. Do you guys think I should just go ahead and mount them or wait till the weather report shows 5 constant days of snow?

I would, better safe than sorry.

I have bigger concerns, I'm picking up my car from PCD this coming Friday. I don't know how I'll be able to manage on Summer Tires

If you have to drive your car in the snow and you don't have any other form of
Transportation I would put them on. I have two other 4x4's I have at my disposal so I don't bother with snow tires.

I switched mine back in mid December. On the warm days I drove my other car that still had the summer tires on it. I did see we have snow in the forecast for this coming weekend. Looking forward to testing out the M in it!

They're not just for snow, cold weather adversely affects traction on your PSS. Just ordered a set of Bridgestone RE-71Rs from the TireRack and they advised me not to let them freeze.

I would closely watch the weather forecast and reschedule if possible. As of now, snow is forecast in the with 6-10 inches on Friday (including Friday night) and 3-5 inches Saturday during the day.

Looking good. I got a used set of 513s with blizzaks. I put them on a few weeks ago.

And toilet paper.

It's always the exact same thing every time it snows here. Crazy

Lots of crazy drivers out there. I for one skipped the store and went by the dealer for some all season floor mats. Gotta have priorities you know!
