I'm 5'10" standing on a dictionary. So if anyone out there is about to bail out of a prime spot on a waiting list because you're 'too tall' for the M2, pleeeeeze let me know. I will quite gladly take the car...

Well a few things...

1) I am taller than you BTW and I fit in the 2er Coupe no problem, even better w/out a moonroof.

2) You might be all upper body. I personally am all legs and have no issues.

3) The seat might have been all jacked up...!

Thanks for the pics! The car looks beautiful in LBB with these real pics. Obviously a well lit warehouse, but none of the auto show excessive lighting.

Love this:

Maybe I exaggerated a bit. But after adjusting the seats to give me that bucket seat feeling. It's doable, but will be impossible for someone other than a toddler to sit behind you. And the seats are electric, so they take forever to move about. Lol.... I want this car!

Great photos, exact car I am going to order. I am 6' 1" 225 and have driven the M235i which will be the same room as the M2 and I found the car a very nice size. Not too many sports coupes that someone my size can fit a car seat in the back but not an issue for me. With no moonroof it should have a little more headroom which will be nice for track days.

Indeed. That would make it 1450kg, 45kg less than BMWs published figures.
