Looking for a 335xi coupe
I just joined the forum. I am in the Rockville, MD area. I live near VOB, but have no real experience with anyone there. I really do not want to go to Virginia if I do not have to.
I have talked to Tischer and they seem to be helpful. Can anyone make a recommendation for VOB or Tischer? Thanks |

i dont think i've ever heard anything good about VOB. If anything their sales is OK, although you won't get the best price. Their service has got to be the worst in the area which is way more important to me. I'll pay a little more for better service.

+1 on VOB service quality..or lack thereof.
As for sales, I got my e90 there and was able to get 500 over invoice without much trouble at all. Dealt with Maz Hejazi and was nothing but straight forward in the negotiation process. So long as your informed and shop around, I'm sure you'll be able to score a decent price. I def would not take my car there to be service though. Good luck

Do yourself a favor and go to Passport BMW in Marlow Heights, MD. Best place to buy in the area.

I had a good expirence with all the dealerships while shopping around - I don't know about the Car Service - but a "best" offer from one dealership is going to be matched by ALL BMW dealerships; a sale is a sale. For our dealership friends on here - nuff said - good luck with your expirence

oh..1 recommendation....buy yourself a 335i...get a 2nd hooptie car for bad weather...few months of bad weather is not worth charge/performance loss IMHO....I don't mind riding around in my 4yr old Civic on bad days...
please don't flame me for the civic! =) |

I got invoice at VOB, service is ok, they replaced my fuel pump and gave me a 328i to drive for 32 days.
Ask for ilhan Birgin he can do the whole car ordering over a few emails(tell them Juan C. sent you --white 335i). You can just email him, PM me for his email. Saved me time and hassle, charged $1000 on my Visa, 6 weeks later I picked up the car at the agreed price. Didn't have to go see him until car arrived. Painless process lowest price I could get from anyone in DC/Baltimore area.

VOB BMW is not hard to deal with really. Just like Juan I got my 335 for invoice back in Oct. of 06. The only difference I was only charged $500 on my AMEX. I also got my fuel pump replaced at VOB service within two days, and a 328i loaner. My Sales Rep moved to Fairfax BMW unfortunately. Their bodyshop is something to STAY CLEAR of, but just to purchase the car, definitely go to VOB. Don't waste your time and gas to travel 20 miles to buy the same car.
