WTB OEM BMW E90 Carbon Fiber Trim - LCI I-drive
I know this is a long shot......But as the title states, I'm looking for a set of OEM BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Interior trim for an E90 LCI (2009+) w/ I-Drive. If you have a set that you'd like to part with, please let me know. Cash in hand.

Did you know BMW OEM carbon fiber is an overlay? They take ABS trim pieces and overlay them with carbon fiber just like aftermarket trim is done.

Yes..........but I'm confused as to your intent in posting that. Was it an attempt to make me look foolish? Or was it genuinely educational?
I really don't understand the persistent urge to condemn people on this site. I didn't post anything inflammatory or defaming....I simply said I prefer OEM, and not an overlay, simply for the quality control. But again, I'm aware that it's an "overlay".....technically. I know there are many that do some very good work on overlays, and several customers are very very pleased with the product. I, however, just prefer the look of the OEM weave and finish. Anyway....I don't appreciate the snarkiness, if that was indeed your intent. If it wasn't, I sincerely apologize.

No, it was genuinely educational not just for you, but for others that don't know that. I have seen people think the OEM trim is all CF and I was hoping to educate as is the purpose of this board. Also, OEM trim does not come with UV protection so I have seen many OEM trim pieces turn yellow. Sorry if I offended.

Well, now I feel like an ass for jumping to conclusions....
Thank you for the comment. I wasn't aware that the OEM trim lacked UV protection. That's certainly something to consider, as I would hate for a $1600 trim to yellow over time... Perhaps I need to reconsider Thanks man |

Hmm....The more I learn, the less I want OEM trim:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=carbon This is just inexcusable for a $1600 trim set...
