f30 brake squealing problem
first time, i went to the dealer and they fixed it and the fix lasted about 2 weeks....today it started again.
when i hit the brakes hard at high speeds its fine, but when i hit the softly brakes at lower speeds it squeals on the rear passenger side. anybody have a solution? |

It should only be squealing from the first few initial soft braking. Once the pads and rotors are warmed up, they typically don't squeal. The squealing is worse when cold braking down a slope, such as a garage.

I have the same issue. I've got 14k miles on my F30 328i. I think it's because dust or dirt has got on the rotors and pads.
I cleaned the rotors with break cleaner and it went away for a while. Back again tho. Only on soft breaking, mostly when I'm letting off the breaks after breaking. |

Just recently got m performance brakes and have the same problem, they didn't squeal when I first had them and now the squeal I'm hoping it'll go away after I use them a little more...
