Diffuser removal (plastic clips)

Having a really interesting time removing the stock diffuser from the bumper cover. The plastic rivets were easy.

What's the secret? Heat gun? I feel like I will break something or scratch the bumper cover paint the way I'm doing it now.

Thanks so much!

Chris

After cutting the pop rivets out you reach up inside the diffuser/bumper and manipulate the diffuser clips to unclip them from the bumper while pulling outwards. You are in for a treat with the reinstallation though ... That's a special experience.

I can't wait to reinstall. This is the Scropps diffuser. Similar to Revozport.

You really want to hope it's a perfect fit, as even with the OEM diffuser it is a slow and tedious install to get all the clips back in place..

Have fun mate, as I R and R mine times in my quest for the " perfect " diffuser when I had the meisterschaft exhaust..

Got it done. All I needed was a heat gun and the clips slid right out. Fitment is perfect!

FYI: Dinan's catback does not fit with this diffuser. I will have a Dinan catback in great condition for sale shortly.
