Hexon Hybrid 2 RR540 turbo

I am thinking of going this route. I've loved Hexon's turbos, they're a very good company from things in the past I've seen. Anyone else interested in their turbo?

I noticed thier option as well, hasn't been any feedback on them yet, and priced the same as Pure's. Considering theyre RR"540" seems like they aim to make about that much horsepower as well, again same as we have seen on Pure's.

I'm pretty much waiting on some results and logs on them, otherwise I may go with Pure this summer, or wait on the 6466 /motiv development.

Have you heard any reviews on this company?

I noticed Frankenturbo has a thread in the N54 forum. We need to get them interested in developing aftermarket turbos for the N55 platform. Competition can only help improve products and lower prices.

I haven't heard reviews on the steam turbochargers.

I like Frankenturbo too, but I'm also looking now at what PTF introduced what they installed on the N55 by BorgWarner.

You guys keep thinking about your new turbo options. Many here have already made their choices, and are dialing them in. CantCatchMe, or need to CatchUp?

Yes, the more options the better? Pure isn't the only option. Vargas is a joke when they failed on the N55 turbo. Eat a snickers and relax

I don't understand, exploring more turbo choices is also exploring new power levels and different results. Many have already made their choice because there's only two... Pure and VTT. (That have actual results)

You do know that stock frame upgrades are usually the first when it comes to turbo developments. Some folks may be waiting to aim higher/waiting on tuning developments.

Five to six hundred at the wheels should be sufficient for a street car. More than that is just psycho. BTW, I was just razźing you guys.

There looks to be a lot of 'meat' left on the turbine side of our stage 2 turbos compared to some of the n54 hybrid offerings?

Obviously there needs to be a certain amount left to Keep the integrity of the turbine housing but I wonder if we will see a stage 2+ offered for the n55s at some point.

I don't know about that. Looks pretty tight to me. I took this pic the other day. Just got the Pure Stage 2, ready to be installed.

The Hexon turbo looks like it has quite a bit smaller wheels.

Yeah the ID on the Pure turbo is WAY bigger than the Hexon. I agree the PS2 is about maxed in that housing.

Yeah it seems pretty obvious that Pure opened things up more with their stage 2. I would be surprised to see this turbo put down the same amount of power.

Nice! Yeah the pure stage 2 definitely has a bigger turbine wheel, hardly anything left on the turbine housing compared to hexons offering.

Enjoy the PS2, very jealous.

Why not get a manifold with a standard flange on it and buy a nice turbo? Why do you care to keep the turbo and manifold as one?

No they're not in business. They said Wayne left and for anyone who got their turbo ordered to place a dispute with PayPal or card company. Hope that helps.

Should probably file a dispute to get your money back with CC or Paypal.
