Mounting Gopro for track days

Where and with what mounts do you guys use to mount your Gopro? I want to record an event but I don't know the best/safest place for it.

Suction cup mount to windshield - in front of the rear-view mirror where it won't block my vision.

I clipped mine to the sun visor. You can go to my youtube site to see the video perspective it gives you (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1Y...=dd&shelf_id=0). I also tried the window behind the main drivers side window on the outside. I was a little nervous of it falling off, but I cleaned the involved surfaces and it held fine.

Also try tackform dot com. I bought the headrest version works like a charm. I've used the suction cup for shots outside the car as well.

With how the 235 interior is I plan on mounting mine on the rear passenger quarter window. Should work pretty good. It's how I mounted mine on my Evo.

Might be too close to the front on a coupe though...
