Wow, the mods list is impressive and includes some high cost items (Gruppe M intake, Akrapovic exhaust, KWV3) but the price still seems to be a premium. Since mods are highly personal, one should not expect to recover all costs when selling, and the mods should decrease the base value of the car itself, so looks overpriced at a glance to me.
Is this a dealer or is it being sold by the owner? I thought the opening statement was interesting (1 of 450 MADE) but incorrect. There were over 5000 made, so it is 1 of 450 imported to UK. The seller doesn't seem to know much about the 1M or is embellishing. Just my 0.02. |

I've spoken to the guy and he is a private seller. It has been on the occasional track day. He said he has more invoices and fsh to show me. Think he maybe a car collector as he has a number of very nice cars. He said he has just taken delivery of a 918 Porsche!!!!!!!!

By my reckoning this values the mods at £15-18k premium. You'd need to decide if you were going to undertake the same mods anyway if you bought a boggo standard car and as such whether this represents good value.
Have you driven a standard one? What do you want it for? Mine is a roadcar only and even though I've only had it a few weeks is not really wanting in any dept. I'm sure on track I'd quickly come up with a long list of necessary mods, but for £18k personally I'd buy a dedicated track car and keep the 1M as God intended. |

My Opinion:
Too many mods. Remap, suspension ect. I would not touch it unless you were going to do the same anyhow. Likely has seen track time and no way to Vet how much of a beating it took. I'd pass as there is likely to be a cleaner one for sale soon...especially if there is a run on Deutsche Bank . The 1M is a fantastic car. Wait for the right one. |

so i went to view the car toady. bloody hell its quick! its immaculate and if my loan gets agreed this week I'm having it. i drove a standard 1m in the week, and this was worlds apart. he also dropped the price down to 55k so in talks now for some negotiating.
the guy also took me for a spin in his 918. best car I've ever been in, and even though the weather was poor he insisted we went out. I'm thinking around the 50 -52 mark?? help |

Jealous...these are great mods and if everything is integrated properly its a fantastic overall deal.
I would buy this car as it's actually where my car is heading as far as quality mods go...

You'll really enjoy this car. While expensive, the mods fit into the top shelf, cost not an issue category. Make sure you get the original parts as part of the deal, if possible.

Maybe it's just me but if I were going to go the mod route it seems it would be more fun to do it yourself and enjoy the car as it evolved.
