Sun protection glass

Has anybody got those? I'm thinking of adding them to my order, specially as we're expecting a little boy in June and I'd need something to protect him from the sun. Are those good enough or it's better to go with another solution?

Thanks!

I got them. It's worth the extra.

The other option is the BMW Genuine sun blinds (part number 51462405837).

Thanks KPD - they're not really my cup of tea in terms of look but if they're good enough for protecting little baby from the sun I'll get them. Anybody here with a little baby that can add to the conversation?

EDIT: I had a look at the blinds and they're more in line with what I'm looking for... I'll ask the dealer I guess!

My advice would be to get the tints and also get the fitted blinds.

The tints help to keep the intensity of the sun down from the side and also rear windows.

The fitted blinds are great as they cover the whole window and I believe still allow you to open the window to get fresh air in. So if the cars really hot inside in the summer you can drop the window and still have the shade in place. The little stick on affairs are not as good.

We had the fully fitted ones for our last car when the kids were young and they are definitely worth the cost.

Tints also look good imho. But then we do live in Essex where they're sort of expected.
