New 340i ordered!

Yet another one that has given in to temptation.

F30
Sports Auto
Mineral Grey
Msport+
Pro media +
Heated seats
Oyster interior

Got a mega deal and am only paying £9/ month more than my 320i, which is just ridiculous and too good a deal to miss.

Will be taking delivery mid April, yet need to get my VT done

F30 or F31? Congrats, sounds really good. That Pro Media + package makes me wonder now...

Updated, f30 and sports auto. I almost removed the HUD but since the deal came good I kept it. I also do genuinely plan on keeping this beast a while so I figured I'd go for it

I don't think the discounts in 2013 were anywhere near what they are and I think I have pushed this deal as far as I can, I can't say the same for the 320i.

Congratulations, I'm trying to do the same but mine comes higher than my 335d even if 335d is on 3years PCP. I can also see that loading 340 with £5k more stuff than you configured gives you only £600 more discount, so you pretty much pay for it all. So maybe it doesn't make sense to load so much? At the end they would cost roughly the same money after 4years. I'm totally confused, need a break .....

As pretty everyone's said, you get very little on your future value with options, it's only the m sport+ which gets you near half back, pretty much all the rest you'll pay for in full.
If you want cheaper monthlys then choose fewer options.

From my experience you don't need to tick every option box to get a good deal either.

I think it worked out at something like £39/m for msport+ and pro nav(no HUD) which makes them great value really.

Good choice

Despite the number of 340i owners here, I still haven't seen another one in the wild. Goes to show how what the forum buys is not typical of what the public buys. At Heathrow where I stay during the week, the hotel car park is awash with 320d's

I have yet to see another one either, the default as you say seems to be diesel however having said that there does not seem to be the number of 3 series on the road that there were a few years ago. Everybody seems to want 'sheds on wheels' now for some unknown reason

Audis and mercs are so common now round my way that a new 3 series is almost exclusive these days. Well exclusive as a mass market car can be!
330d rare. 335d v rare .335i rarer still. 340i never seen one.

Congratulations.

I know one can go on and on with options but from my experience of HUD, the speed limit information works very well with it for another £220 or so.

I am toying with that idea TBH. But having said that my target was to get the above car for the same (or as near as) to what I'm paying now so I think I'll stick with that. I think if I didn't get HUD I'd be a bit gutted but speed limit display is something I can live without - I'll just pay attention to the freely provided road signs - go old school
