Quick Question

Hey guys, just a quick question. I have my 335 with JB4 and a catless downpipe. I am currently running Map 5. Is there anyway I could run Map 2 instead? I have not tried yet because I do not want to throw a code after.

Thanks!

Log to see what you are boosting on map 5. If more than 14psi map 2 will be fine.

Every car, mods, environment, and fueling is different so you really need to log to know what map you should run.

As long as you are filling up with the 93 down here you will be fine on map 2. There is E85 available in a few spots too if you want a real power boost. Do a mix and run some E35 on map 5.

Do you need flex fuel wires or anything extra to run e85? Not full E85, of course.

Isn't it E20 and below you are ok?

There is an awesome station on Sand Lake Blvd just east of OBT if you are on the south side at all. E85 at like 12 pumps and it is a brand new Race Trac station

It is not so common here, surprisingly.

Plenty of online calculators for mixing.

A calculator is just a guess as you don't know if it is E70 or E85 actually coming out of the pump. You need an ethanol tester. Fuel-it has the best option with their ethanol meter. I run 6 gal of E85 per tank of 93 and call it good. Plenty of octane to max out the PS1.

Yes it's, an educated guess, but a few % of variation, isn't going kill any babies.
