How do you disable auto code clear jb4?
The car overheated last night, I want to disable auto code clear. I'm about to go take a look, but the car started fine this morning. I did notice that I couldn't see any coolant in the recovery tank. But see no leaks. Thanks.

Dealer just found a leak in my expansion tank today. Might be something to check out.

Fwiw, my auto clear ALWAYS goes back to showing it turned on in the menu. It's like it doesn't save the last position. Has anyone else seen this?

The service rep said they found no codes relating to an engine overheat, but a code that said the battery was bad, so they replaced that. He stated it could have been a error message created by the bad battery voltage.

My water pump went at around 40k. There were a few signs.. coolant level was low (but not extremely low), engine overheat minor came up on iDrive. The next day it failed and showed the same message but followed by a critical failure telling me to pull over and stop immediately.
Had it towed to the dealer, replaced the pump under CPO. Btw- even with autoclear on it will show a check engine light that WILL be visible, but it will reset itself and disappear. The menu to disable autoclear is 1>4.
