First Coding done

Okay, so have nee thinking about this for a while, but never really had the time....until today - and to be honest, took less than 10 minutes, so have coded the following
  1. EBT (well it's obligatory, no?)
  2. Single press tailgate open & close
  3. Tailgate close from cabin
  4. Video from USB
  5. Door handle lights on reverse
  6. Digital speed readout
  7. Increase indicator (flash 5 iso 3)
  8. Display tyre temp as well as pressure

Anything else I should be thinking of?

FEM_BODY 3023 TCM_MSA_MEMORY Change nicht_aktiv to aktiv

Adds iDrive setting to turn on/off the audible confirmation when Alarm is armed.

Well done, it's easy once you know how!

I like the front fogs as cornering lights (that's if you don't have adaptive headlights)

Radio is really good, that does bug me a bit that it stays on until locked (and the wipers)

Will pop out in a mo and do that one......

Yes, the LED fog lights in particular light up kerbs and other things to the side when doing slow manoeuvres.

Good set of changes. Any chance you could post or pm me the codes for each, or point me to a reference where I can find them all ?

Go to the coding section. Glance at the stickies. It's pretty easy. No way you can code the above in 10 minutes, even if you're Expert. Maybe 15 to 20 mins for multiple edits like that.

If just One section like FEM_body I can see you doing it in 10 minutes even if you're changing 10 variables within that section

I did mine because that way when you're backing up it lights up the car better? With the logic being.... backing up in a parking lot somebody might see your car easier and not hit it.

The one I don't get is the gong when you go into reverse

Well, I wasn't out with a stopwatch, but it really wasn't too far off the mark. Even agreed with "wife time" when I was asked what I had been doing outside in the car for the last 10 minutes with a laptop

Can you turn off the adaptive cornering lights by coding? I hate these, looks like your driving around with fogs on, but one bulb out. I don't think it adds anything useful either.
