e92 PIAA LED from priracing.com legit?

Hey all,

I tried searching for reviews on priracing.com on this forum and on google and wasn't really able to come up with anything.

I found this through a quick search on google and I'm not all too familiar with pri racing, but I was just wondering if this is legit:

http://www.priracing.com/product.php...70-upgrade-kit

Anyone familiar with them?

yea I've heard of them, longtran was doing a groupbuy to get them from PIAA in japan but turned out that they were completely out of stock...furthermore it didn't look like it would completely solve the problem of having noticably dim outside rings in comparison with the rings on the inside. This is just due to the construction of the headlight and not the light

I think what Ocha is working on is keeping the angel eyes at the same intensity that they are when they are being used as DRL's, and basically not having them dim down when you turn your headlights on, but there would still be the problem of having the outer angel eye dimmer than the inner ones.

Oh-Cha is working on the DIM feature from turning ON the headlights

this thread is about the actual light source, so that both rings can be equally illuminated...

Yea, it's just a solution to keep the voltage up. Personally I don't really care about the outer angel eye while the headlights are on, nothing will stop them from getting washed out.

It's not worth 300$ to me for the PIAAs which is why I'm working on what I am working on.

Then again, do the PIAAs succumb to the same dimming issue? LEDs are just as bad about dimming when getting under-volted. Though there are possible solutions like having three 4v LEDs wired in series and then having them switch to parallel somehow. Doubt they did that though as it's very complicated. Though for $300 they better have.

And if you have no idea what were talking about:
