New 1M owner in Georgia
Hello!
I just bought my 1M last week and am enamored with it. I absolutely love my little stripper car. When looking for a newer car to replace my ZHP I feel I looked at nearly everything that interested me and finally decided on the first car I test drove, the 1M. Its a base base base model with manual everything and 16k miles in Alpine White. Its probably the closest to a new BMW as Ill care to get as there is nothing out there they make that excites me. Its my second BMW, my first one I got last christmas was a 2003 ZHP Sedan. Now just over 1 year later I took this little guy home: On the way home with it, I stopped by my friends shop, Koruworks,(who is also the reason I even know what these things are) and we installed a Meiserschaft exhaust on it. Literally didnt even make it to my house or own the car for more than 3 hours and it already was modded with the exhaust and n55 mid pipe. Went to the dealer to get the service records pulled and found these little guys in parts area, got one for me and one for my buddy since they match our cars: Finally went to the mall and got a neat picture of it all alone on the top level of the parking deck. Long term I plan to keep the car and just enjoy driving it, I have a fun weekend car already, so I'll probably end up driving this whenever the weather is nice also. |

BMW, they have them in all the colors and have little magnets and are pull back so they can stick to things and race across the refrigerator or the hood of a car.

Leave traction control on the street!
Just a friendly suggestion. I know guys with more powerful cars have gotten overconfident especially cold or wet weather where the car seems to make more power while simultaneously having less traction. Best wishes. |

I've only seen one 1M in Atlanta so far. I'm also surprised there have been no comments on the 240Z. I was a Z driver until I could afford to convert to German cars. That's a beautiful 240, those cars are extremely rust prone. My 135 is pretty much fully modded and I'm in Buckhead. My mods are listed in my signature.

Just the exhaust for right now, my friend has some H&R springs ill put on when I get around to it. He also has a carbon front lip and rear diffuser also that may or may not find their way on the car. Originally I was gonna mod the heck out of it, then figured as low mileage as the car has, probably better not to modify it too much.

Congrats on the 1M. I really wanted one bad when I purchased my 135i but you couldn't find them then.
Love the Z too. I have had several over the years, including the 2003 350Z that I currently own. I am also the president of our local Z club. I'm sure living in the Atlanta area that you have been to the Z1 Motorsports Nationals. I would love to make the trek down there for that show. Maybe one day I can.

I have been to ZDayz once. I would love to go again sometime, but it is not held during the best time of the year for me because of other things I have going on.
