Camber plates vs M4 LCA

Hey guys,

I have read that the M4 LCA's can you you roughly -1.7 front camber. They also push the wheel forward about an inch.

My question is what would the performance/feel difference between -1.7 degrees from M4 LCA and a camber plate set to -1.7 degrees?

I ask because I have heard the wheel fitment I want to run will rub with LCA's because of the 1" bump forward.

Any insight?

I would also like to know. Currently running a 235/40/18 front, wondering if the m4 lca may cause rubbing issues.

there is more to the lcas, bushings are better, wider track, lower height and pushing the wheels forward is better for handling. I run both lcas and camber plates.

I save heard that it does over in the wheel and tire forum. Hence why I was looking at other options.

Maybe a rolled fender would be enough to fit the LCA. I'd be willing to do that mod, but nothing else

I'm running 245-40-17 square on the Kosei K4R and there is no rubbing.

Camber plates might make noise and also not sure if there is a reliable camber plate for the F22 yet... I just keep hearing they fail prematurely but it does give you adjustability

That's what I have heard as well, but haven't heard anything about dinans yet. Have you?

And if you don't mind me asking what is s your front setup? As far as offsets and mods?

I plan on having 18x8.5 235/40 mpss. Id like to add the m4 LCA if possible and after that would consider the Dinan drop if it didn't rub.

So your setup would be roughly half an inch smaller rolling diameter? Are you close to hitting?

No I'm running OE MPSS tyres but with F30 style 397 18" alloys which are 8" x et34mm.

There are folks here in the UK using LCAS, 18" et40mm with 245/35/18 without issue.

I got -1.9 with my LCAs. Thinking of going back to stock with a camber kit though since my set up rubs now. Waiting on a review of the new dinan ones.

Cloud 9 you mentioned rubbing, rubbing in the front or at the top? I was looking to get some wider 18s in the front with M4 LCAs, want to make sure I don't rub.

Are there pics of the LCAs installed on an otherwise stock M235 somewhere on the forum that shows the wheel opening, I couldn't find any?

Since the wheel is moved out and forward it sometimes rubs on bumps on the freeway. I believe its hitting on the North East corner of the fenders. Before the LCAs they would just tuck in the fender without rubbing.

I'm running 19s, so you might have better luck with your 18s.
