So I recently thought of this. For the e90 sedan, you can convert the front to fit the e92 headlights. so i was wondering if the same could be done to the e92 but with the taillights. In other words is it possible to put the e90 sedan taillights on the e92 rear?

Really not possible or feasible. You would need:
  • E90 trunk lid (which may not even be possible unless it is the same size as E92 trunk)
  • But also have to cut out just back portion of the E92 rear quarters & weld in back portion of E90 quarters, as the tails wrap around into the quarters & they are entirely different shape - highly unlikely to be able to make body lines or contours to match up
  • E90 Rear Bumper

Waaaaayyy to much expense just to run E90 tails - especially when the E92 tails are much better looking to begin with...

Anything is possible with enough money. But short answer, no.

Thanks for the depth of your answer. And yea the pre Lci e90 looked hideous. But the Lci e90's tail looks better IMO
